I am believing that this section of our website will be a HUGE help for your life. If you are like me, I often times wish that I could listen to, or read, the content of many messages over and over again. Well ... now you can!
Each week, for your review, I will be posting a blog summary of the previous week's message. In addition, you will be able to listen to that message via our podcast. Previous week's messages and blogs will be archived in this section.
Use this section of our website, not only to strengthen your own walk with the Lord, but share it with your family, friends, neighbors and work associates. In fact, use our entire website as an outreach tool for sharing the ministries of our church with your world!
As we enter the new year, there is not a better time for believers to examine their lives; their priorities. Over the course of a year, it is easy to allow things that should be important to become a bit "watered down"! Like a glass of good 'ole sweet tea ... when first poured, it is full of flavor; quite concentrated. However, the longer it sits, the more watered-down it becomes. Before you know it, it has completely lost it's flavor and becomes far less appealing to finish.
The Book of Haggai draws attention to the principle of priorities. Haggai exhorts the people of God to ...
1) to examine our priorities to see if we are more interested in our own pleasures than doing the work of God
2) to reject a defeatist attitude when we run into opposition or discouraging circumstances
3) to confess our failures and seek to live pure lives before God
4) to act courageously for God because we have the assurance that He is with us always and is in full control of our circumstances
5) to rest secure in God's hands knowing that He will abundantly bless us, IF we choose to faithfully serve Him.
