Welcome to the Texas Hill Country's

most exciting church!

Are you looking for a church full of good people, good programs, and good personalities?  If so, pick any church in the Texas Hill Country!  Some of the finest people in the world live and go to church around here!

However, if you are looking for something different, more unique; something that will set a church apart ... you might want to check out Church at The Epicenter in Burnet, Texas!  We, too, have great people, programs, and personalities!  However, we strive to offer something more; something that has been lost amid the modern-day strategies of "church growth".  At Church at The Epicenter, we work hard to offer COMMUNITY!  Not just a place where people "go to church together", but a place where people have committed to DO LIFE TOGETHER

It is the stated conviction of our founding pastor, Kyle Byrd, that THE missing element of today's church is the principle of New Testament community.  Community is ... the experience of knowing and being known, loving and being loved, supporting and being supported, celebrating and being celebrated

If you are looking for more than just a place to "go to church"; if you are looking for a community of faith, a faith "family", we invite you to visit Church at The Epicenter!  We are not perfect, but we know the One who is and we are striving to know Him and make Him known!

Church at The Epicenter is a Christ-centered, Bible-based, non-denominational church that believes every saint has a past and every sinner has a future!  In short, there are no "perfect" people here ... only those looking to be changed!

Welcome to our website!  Check us out and we would be honored to have you visit us.  All of our ministries are presented throughout this site.  Welcome to the most exciting church in the Texas Hill Country ... Church at The Epicenter!

SUNDAY WORSHIP @ 10:00 AM

HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF

UPDATE on how we will be focusing our aid to clean up Harvey. We will be focusing on three areas of specific needs that will have specific people that you will be able to get into contact for further instructions and exact information on how you will be able to help.  1. Basic Needs: We will be collecting and transporting supplies to a partner church in Houston. The Worship Center is located in downtown Houston and is ministering to low income families who have lost more than everything. Things that they need are: clothing of all sizes, non-perishable foods, bottled water, diapers, unscented baby wipes, soap, shampoo, toothpaste/brushes, deodorant, brushes, combs, towels, toilet paper, baby formula, socks, shoes, new undergarments. If you would like to help in this area, please contact Liz Ketcher Catlin. 2. Refugees at Inks Lake: If you are unaware, many people left in time to escape the flooding and found shelter at Inks Lake where they are camping out waiting to go back to their homes to assess the damage. There are many in the community that are ministering to these people, as they need food, clothing and other resources to endure the wait. There are many specific needs that the community has asked for. For more information, please see Liz Ketcher Catlin Delila White or Sarah Byerly Holmes. 3. Construction Crews: We have been in contact with First Baptist Church in Port Aransas with promising impact to help rebuild the church and surrounding buildings/homes in the area. Bo Holmes, Charles Jones, and Lanny Lindsey are heading up crews to head down to bring assistance to these communities. September 16-23 is looking like a week that the majority of our efforts will be targeted to head down there with a place to stay and food being provided. We need to start collecting now supplies that we will utilize while we are down there. These items include: trash bags, shovels, wheel barrels, disposable dust masks, bleach, fans (of all sizes), hammers, rain panchos, sunscreen, paper towels and extension cords. Contact any of our three construction heads if you would like to assist in donations or joining a crew to help the southern communities. As always, prayer is our number one weapon of defense. We have seen love and compassion permeate Texas as we all help rebuild the state we love. To all honor and glory we give to you Lord.
